Arcadia’s founder and business owner Richard Wilkinson began Arcadia in 2001 as a way to fulfil his passion for working with plants and creating beautiful outdoor environments.
He believes everyone can benefit from being surrounded by incredible outdoor spaces, living in harmony with nature, tending to plants with care and consideration, as these acts bring a sense of calm to the human spirit.

Business owner, highly qualified Horticulturalist and Landscape Designer with over 30 years experience in the gardening, landscaping and construction industries.
Richard run’s a tight ship as they say!... highly valuing each member of the Arcadia crew, and feels incredibly grateful for their high standard of professionalism, work ethics and wholesome personalities.
Living a healthy well-balanced life is something Richard aspires to everyday… being physically active with all his mountain biking and bush walking adventures, and keeping emotionally well with a loving family, are equally important.
